​WHERE OUR STORY BEGAN

This is a love story about a family who discovered a love so unconditional and profound that it would forever alter the course of their lives.
Once upon a time, a man and a woman fell in love unexpectedly, and shortly thereafter, they were blessed with the arrival of a precious little boy.
They felt as though God was smiling upon them. They were filled with an overwhelming sense of love and gratitude and humbled by the responsibility of raising this little boy to the very best of their ability.
But the sunny days soon gave way to a series of storms.
Health challenges, financial struggles, disappointment and uncertainty became part of their journey. Yet it was during this difficult season that their little boy, while facing frightening health challenges of his own, would teach them one of the greatest lessons of their lives.

THE LITTLE BOY WHO CHANGED EVERYTHING

Love, love and more love. This was the essence of the little boy’s being.
His eyes saw no colour, race, religion or socioeconomic status. His pure heart touched the people who crossed his path.
The love that came so naturally from this child left his parents in awe and forever changed their perspective on life. Through him, they began to see something that, as adults, we can so easily forget.
Children enter this world with an extraordinary capacity to love. Freely. Honestly. Without judgement or agenda.
As the storms continued, this little family’s faith grew stronger, and through the challenges, uncertainty and grace of God, a greater purpose slowly began to take shape. A dream began to form.

THE DREAM BECAME ISENSE

iSense Kids is a dream come true that was years in the making.
Born out of prayer and a belief that there is a greater purpose for our lives, the lessons we learned through our own little boy began to shape a vision for something more.
We wanted to create the kind of school we would want for our own child. A place where children could receive an exceptional education while still being free to enjoy the wonder of childhood. A place filled with love, kindness and joy, where every child would be genuinely known and valued for who they are.
As parents ourselves, we understand just how important the decision of choosing a school can be. Our goal has always been simple: to protect and nurture the love and joy children are born with while giving them the strongest possible foundation for what comes next.
That dream became iSense Kids.
We are a Christian-centred school with our hearts and doors open to all.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND ISENSE.

A shared vision. Different strengths. One purpose.

iSense Kids is owned and led by Anton and Danica van Zyl, whose journey, faith and experiences as parents shaped the school it is today.
Danica, a qualified Foundation Phase educator with nearly two decades of experience, leads Education and Parent Liaison, overseeing child development, educational standards and relationships with families.
Anton, a Mechanical Engineer specialising in Mechatronics, oversees operations, administration, maintenance, systems, design and the continuous improvement of the school.
Together, their different strengths combine education, genuine care, strong systems and high standards to create the kind of school they would want for their own children.
That shared purpose remains at the heart of iSense Kids.
